Answer:

Unlock My Number – After subscribing, you’ll receive access to my private phone number.
Text “Hi” – Once you send “Hi,” you’ll start receiving daily Healing Texts via SMS.
2. What if I’m outside the U.S. or Canada?
Answer:

Text Users: Simply reply “STOP” at any time. You’ll immediately be removed—no questions asked.
Email Users: Click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any of my emails to be taken off the mailing list.
4. How often and at what times are messages sent?
Answer:

6. Is this service really free?
Answer:
Yes! Healing Texts is free for subscribers to receive. However, the growing community means texting fees add up on our end (currently around $1,800 a year). To offset these costs, we offer a paid subscription option—essentially a tip jar—for those who want to support keeping the service free for everyone else.
7. What if I don’t have unlimited texting or I’m worried about carrier charges?
Answer:
Since texts go out daily, be sure to check with your mobile carrier if you have limited texting. If SMS fees are a concern, you can always opt for email or the Substack app to avoid any extra charges.
8. What if I don’t receive a text for a day or two—did I get removed?
Answer:
Occasionally, carriers experience delays or technical issues. If you notice a complete stop in messages, reply “Hi” again or send an email to let us know. We’ll make sure you’re back on track.
9. Can I reply to the texts, and will I get a response?
Answer:
Absolutely—you’re welcome to reply and share your thoughts or experiences. While I do my best to read every message, I can’t guarantee a personal response due to the volume of subscribers. Rest assured, your feedback and stories are always deeply appreciated.
10. What if I want to change how I receive the messages?
Answer:
It’s simple!
To switch from text to email: Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe from texts, then sign up for the email list on our website.
To switch from email to text: Unsubscribe from email using the link at the bottom of any message, then follow the steps to text “Hi” once you’ve unlocked my phone number.
11. Are these messages a replacement for therapy or professional mental health services?
Answer:
No. While Healing Texts offer daily encouragement and self-reflection prompts, they are not a substitute for professional therapy or counseling. If you’re experiencing severe emotional distress, please consult a qualified mental health professional.
12. Do you offer group subscriptions for businesses or organizations?
Answer:
Currently, we focus on individual subscribers. If your organization is interested in group access or special offerings, feel free to contact us—we’re open to exploring new ways to support as many people as possible.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out via email or check our website for the latest updates. We’re here to ensure your experience with Healing Texts is as seamless and supportive as possible!
